About us

The TEKOTEAS COLLECTION features a unique blend of herbs, spices, and teas sourced from every corner of Indonesia. We take pride in crafting high-quality blends enriched by nature’s healing hands, ensuring the finest taste and health benefits. Our mission at TEKOTEAS is to introduce the world to the richness of Indonesian tea while supporting the growth of local tea plantations. We carefully select the best-quality teas, herbs, and spices from across the archipelago, blending them to maintain exceptional freshness and flavor. Our thoughtfully designed packaging adds to the experience, offering a vibrant array of colors and patterns to delight your senses.

Our packaging design is inspired by Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, featuring traditional Batik patterns that reflect our commitment to promoting authentic Indonesian tea. We prioritize sustainability by using eco-friendly materials and minimizing plastic usage, ensuring our packaging is biodegradable. By choosing TekoTeas, you’re not only savoring a delicious tea but also bringing a piece of Indonesia into your home. Additionally, your support helps preserve Indonesia’s tea traditions and prevents local tea farms from being replaced by palm oil plantations.

Tekoteas is more than just tea—it’s an authentic taste of Indonesia in every cup. From the moment you open the packaging, you’re transported to the lush landscapes of Bali. Each blend is carefully crafted to capture the rich flavors and traditions of Indonesian tea culture.

My name is Paola, my mother, who was half Indonesian and half Dutch, was born in Java, where tea is an essential part of daily life. Growing up, tea was always present in our home, bringing warmth, tradition, and a sense of togetherness. Inspired by these memories and the rich tea culture of Indonesia, I founded Tekoteas Collection in Bali to share this passion with others, honoring both my heritage and the timeless ritual of tea.

I have always been passionate about tea since childhood, back then tea was presented with a cup full of milk and a drop of tea, but over time i embraced Tea in its purest form and eventually the milk and sugar were left behind.

My journey to Bali took me through the tea gardens of Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, and Java, each stop deepening my appreciation for the craft. In 2019, I founded Tekoteas—a family business dedicated to sharing the finest Indonesian teas with a European twist. We’re proud to bring the best of Indonesia to the world.
